The 10th international Airborne Wind Energy Conference (AWEC 2024) will be held 24-26 April 2024 at the Puerta de Toledo Campus, of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
 
Founded in 1989, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is one of the most prestigious universities in Spain. Getting to Madrid-Puerta de Toledo Campus

The city is served by Adolfo Suare-Madrid-Barajas airport, the main international airport in Spain. To get to the Puerta de Toledo Campus from the airport there are several options:
  • Take metro line 8 towards its end stop Nuevos Ministerios and then line 10, direction Puerta del Sur, to the Alonso Martínez stop, where you have to switch to line 5 to the Puerta de Toledo stop, which is two minutes from campus. Get the metro plan from here.
  • Take a taxi (about 30€).
Madrid-Puerta de Toledo Campus is at the very center of Madrid and it is very easy to get to the campus from any other location in the city. Some options are:
  • By train, stop at “Piramides” or “Embajadores” stations. Useful link.
